I am Prajnan Kumar Roy, founder of Riverbeki – an ODOP Assam tea brand. An engineer from Assam Engineering College, I spent 18 years in leadership roles with top multinationals in the chocolate and beverage industries before returning to my roots.

Riverbeki is my return to roots. The name comes from my childhood memory of the River Beki, a northern tributary of the mighty Brahmaputra. Originating in the Sub-Himalayas and flowing through the Manas Tiger Reserve, the river embodies purity, resilience, and tradition—the same values that shape Riverbeki Tea.

From being invited to Rashtrapati Bhawan to proudly representing Assam Tea on national and international platforms, my journey has been one of honouring heritage while building something fiercely original.

Riverbeki is not a vast marketplace of teas. It is a minimalist tea store, offering only a select lineage of premium teas for those who refuse mediocrity. Every leaf is chosen with care, every sip crafted with intention.
