Riverbeki did not begin in a boardroom or a market strategy session. It began at the edge of a river — the River Beki in Assam — where Roy, an engineer turned tea purist, made a quiet decision to leave behind 18 years in corporate life and build something that mattered.

That decision became Riverbeki — Delhi NCR's premium, single-origin tea brand, dedicated entirely to pure Assam CTC teas and high-elevation Darjeeling teas, sourced directly from named estates, and delivered with complete honesty about what's in your cup.

Why We Started — The Problem with Indian Tea

India grows some of the finest teas in the world. Yet most Indians never taste them in their true form. The market is dominated by mass-produced blends — teas from dozens of unnamed gardens, mixed together, stripped of origin, and sold with little transparency.

We asked a simple question: Why should a country that grows world-class tea settle for anything less than the best?

Riverbeki was built to answer that question.

Our Roots — Assam & Darjeeling

We specialise in two of India's most iconic tea regions because we believe in depth over breadth.

Assam CTC Tea is India's most beloved morning brew — bold, malty, coppery, and full-bodied. Our Assam teas come from the fertile floodplains of the Brahmaputra valley, where the rich alluvial soil and humid climate create a flavour that is unmistakable. We source only the finest CTC grades — not dust, not fannings.

Darjeeling Tea is India's most celebrated fine tea — grown at elevations above 2,000 metres in the foothills of the Himalayas. The muscatel character of Second Flush, the floral delicacy of First Flush, the rarity of White Tea — each is a distinct experience. Our Darjeeling teas carry the altitude, the mist, and the care of their gardens into every cup.

Riverbeki's commitment to quality and authenticity has not gone unnoticed. Roy's work as an entrepreneur and tea advocate has been recognised at the national level — including an invitation to Rashtrapati Bhawan — affirming that what we are building here stands for something beyond commerce.
