Riverbeki's Signature Darjeeling collection is the opposite of that. Every tea here is sourced directly from high-elevation Darjeeling gardens, harvested at its specific seasonal window, and processed to bring out what that particular flush, at that particular altitude, genuinely tastes like.

This collection spans the full range of what Darjeeling can offer: the bright, aromatic first flush of spring; the complex, muscatel-noted second flush of summer; the delicate silver-tipped white teas; and the rare, clean single-origin green. Each is distinct. Each is irreplaceable. Together they represent a single origin at its most complete.

What Makes Darjeeling Teas Unique?

Darjeeling's unique character comes from altitude, climate, and the old cultivars still grown in these gardens. The high Himalayan elevation means slower growth, stronger cell structure, and more concentrated flavour. The morning mists and cool nights produce an aromatic complexity — stone fruit, muscatel, florals, fresh greens — that no other region in the world fully replicates. The Darjeeling GI tag exists precisely because this flavour cannot be manufactured anywhere else.

The Darjeeling Difference — Flush by Flush

First Flush (Spring) — The earliest harvest of the year, when the tea plant wakes from dormancy. Light, floral, bright. A pale gold liquor with a freshness that is unmistakably spring. Riverbeki's Dawn captures this precisely.

Second Flush (Summer) — Where Darjeeling makes its most famous statement. The muscatel character — that distinctive fruity, grape-like, sometimes apricot note — appears only in second flush, and only in Darjeeling. Bolder body, deeper colour, longer finish.

Darjeeling White Tea — Handpicked silver buds, barely processed, keeping the full integrity of the leaf. The lightest, most delicate expression of Darjeeling — low in caffeine and extraordinary in its clean, natural sweetness.

Darjeeling Green Tea — Single-origin, organic, non-bitter. Grown and processed entirely within Darjeeling to retain the terroir of the high hills in every sip.
